Curious about European pastries? In this class you will learn all about the Italian crostata (rustic baked tart), and the French clafoutis (baked dessert of fruit, covered in a thick flan like batter). You will learn how to work with both of these dishes in both a sweet and savory way!

This is a hands on class where we will be making a quick and tasty dough and batter. We will be taking advantage of some delicious local produce and making savory crostata and clafoutis using zucchini, tomatoes and corn. Lastly, we will finish off by making them into desserts using blackberries and peaches.

We will complement our yummy creations by tossing a summer salad and feasting on our food!
