In this class, participants will learn about all the fresh ingredients and spices that go into making flavorful marinades that can add a whole new kick to their grilling this summer. We will make vinaigrettes and will cover three levels of Creole marinades from a basic one that can be used for everyday cooking. We will learn how to use these Creole marinades on seafood, red meat, and poultry, cook and taste them in the class.

Elsy Dinvil is a private chef and caterer from Haiti. She’s owner of Creole Cravings known in Hillsboro for her sold-out pop-up dinners at McNally’s Taphouse and D’Anu winery. Elsy is author of the cookbook, ‘Cooking with my Mother’.
