In this class, we will make two main empanadas or pâtés as we called them in French:
(1) deep fried empanadas
(2) Baked empanadas with two types of dough: pâte brisée and pâte feuilletée

We will play with different types of meat and vegan fillings for our empanadas: beef, chicken, seafood, and vegan.

Elsy Dinvil is owner of Creole Cravings catering company, and author of the cookbook, “Cooking with my Mother: your guide to Haitian Home Cooking”.
